Remembering Mike Cox
On Friday, February 14, Mast General Store lost a dear family member when Mike Cox, an original employee of the Roanoke Mast Store, passed away. Those who knew him best share their memories fo their time with him.
Once Upon a Time ... March 2025
A new employee completed their paperwork and had their first day at the Mast Store. And then, five years, ten years, and more flew by. Happy anniversary to Heidi Berg (KV, 15 years) and Blaine Bare (SF, 5 years) who are celebrating important milestone years in March.
Positive Inventory Results
This year, our physical inventories were conducted the week of February 3rd through February 7th. Our store teams did a great job with preparation and execution. Regarding WIS (formerly RGIS), it was a mixed bag of the number and quality of counters. Communications with the supervisors was also a challenge.
All Roads Lead to Mast Store
For the first time, all fans of Mast Store can document their personal journey to each Mast Store location. Upon visiting a Mast location for the first time with a passport, the holder receives a stamp on the store’s corresponding passport page. The store’s page features a bit of history about the building and the community as a word of welcome to our Mast Store travelers. The passport also includes a space for you to record your own observations as well as a few additional blank pages reserved for stamps of future Mast Store locations.
