A Day of Service
Ahead of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service, several Mast Store staffers from the Support Facility gathered to volunteer as friends and co-workers. They staffed two shifts at the Hunger & Health Coalition on Wednesday, January 15, and spent time making sandwiches in the kitchen, packing food boxes for clients, restocking shelves, and restacking pallets to provide ready access from the door to the far reaches of the storage pod.
Meet Me on the Camino
Shahid Khan spent 16 days in September following in the footsteps of Medieval pilgrims along the Camino de Santiago. The Camino is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and draws thousands of seekers, adventurers, and pilgrims from around the world each year.
Condolences to the Mast Family
Mary Hazel Farthing Mast passed away on January 3, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. She was the childhood sweetheart and wife of Howard W. “H.W.” Mast (also known as simply “H”), who preceded her in death in 2009.
Be a Sweetheart is February 14-16
Be a Sweetheart provides food security partners throughout Mast Store’s region with $1 for every pound of bulk candy purchased the weekend around Valentine’s Day. This year, the event runs Saturday, February 15 – Sunday, February 16 at every location. Guests can round up their purchases to the next dollar for an additional donation from Valentine's Day until February 16.
